HOUSES

As you already know from the parents' meeting, we are working with a project called "Houses". Students from First and Second grade are divided into four houses: wolves, lynxes, eagles and bears. Each house has a captain who is one of the teachers in the cycle: Rocío (wolves), Silvia (lynxes), Álvaro (eagles) and Elia (bears). 

Students have a behaviour chart in which they start the term with ten points and they will get more points as long as they follow the classroom rules. 

We also have house meetings every fifteen days to talk about how each house is progressing. By the end of the term, we celebrate with a party for the winning house, that is, the house which has the most points.

Como ya sabéis de la reunión de padres, estamos trabajando con un proyecto llamado "Las Casas". Todos los alumnos de Primero y Segundo de Primaria están divididos en cuatro casas: lobos, linces, águilas y osos. Cada casa tiene un capitán, que es uno de los profesores del ciclo: Rocío (lobos), Silvia (linces), Álvaro (águilas) y Elia (osos).

Los alumnos tienen un sistema de puntos. Comienzan el trimestre con diez puntos y podrán ir ganando más puntos si siguen las normas de clase, al igual que pueden perder puntos si no las cumplen. 

También tenemos reuniones quincenales por casas para hablar del funcionamiento de cada casa. Al final del trimestre, celebramos la fiesta de la casa ganadora, es decir, la casa que tiene más puntos.
